You may have noticed that, when you send orders, the crypto wallet(Scatter or Metamask) will prompt a dialog twice.
Once is for signing the transaction of the submission of the collateral(the cryptocurrency that you want to sell).
Once is for signing the transaction of transferring the exchange fee.
The exchange fee is an upfront payment to guarantee that you have enough funds to pay for the funds transferring from the exchange account to your recipient account.
Because the exchange is not centralized, so the cryptocurrency that you buy will be transferred to you once the orders are matched.
And, the orders may be partially filled, so, one order may be corresponding to several orders.
One order’s settlement is corresponding to one transferring.
For example, if your order matches five orders and each order matched may only fill your order partially, so, the cryptocurrencies will be transferred to your account by five times respectively.
Then you need to prepare an amount of fee six times as much as the standard fee required by the exchange.
So, if the standard fee is 0.01 EOS, then you need to pay 0.06 EOS. 0.05 EOS is for the transferring of the cryptocurrencies that you bought, 0.01 EOS is for refunding the loose changes(refunding the remaining collateral).
